I'm a bit sore from yesterday and have no idea what a DU or Sumo Dead Lift High Pull is - but I'm looking forward to learning! Amy

5 rounds: 31:25ish. These are the kind of workouts that you need a nap after so night night

WOW - that was intense. I am with you on the nap thing.
5 Rounds 31:32ish.
After my 9:00 class tomorrow, Billie Jo and I are going to have a leisurely ride though the Fort. Leaving here at 10:00. I am stressing Slow and Easy. Any other riders are welcome to join us.

That was a tough workout. Good thing for me there were DU's. Finally got a groove and was doing them non-stop. The SDHP kicked my
---. Still couldn't catch the fast ones :). 32:20 (5 rounds)

Great workout! I was totally intimidated by this at first - but once I got into it I was enjoying it. I actually did 5 rounds in 30:55. It really helps to be proficient at DU's to cut off the time. I'm sure I will feel it tomorrow. Amy

The DU'S SLOWED my down big time. I need to practice on these. I did four rounds in 30:14.

O.K. - unnanimous rough spots with the jump rope!!! So....here is an idea to help (I think)
* Get to class 5 minutes early and work on your rope speed. See how fast you can get that baby signing for as long as you can. When you hear it 'wizzing or winging' you will know you are there. Usually, if a student can 'run' in place while jumping rope...you can really cream the dreaded DU's! :-)

Everyone really looked good on the SDHP. Arched backs and pushing off the heels is the key. But...someone please tell me where should your eyes be looking?

that was sweet...
4 rounds in 28:49
I am not sure what hurt more, my lungs from the accelerated air intake or my ankles being whipped by the jump rope. Think I'll work on perfecting that "DU"
Thanks!
