4/25/08 WOD

My arms are sore , So we worked the core:

5 rounds of the following:

5 tire flips
10 back extensions
15 GHD sit-ups
20 knees-to-elbows
20 Ab mat situps
5 Windshield washers

33:40 for 5X. Somehow the ab stuff seems to be getting easier for me. Knees-elbows still tuffest. richard

31.50 after hanging for the knees to elbows and the tire that ran over me, my back muscles are done.

This was a great change of pace for me with all the strength wod's we've been doing then to throw all that back stretching and core work really makes for a well rounded week. Doug, I think that I am about 2 inches taller with that stretching you did. I think a stretching class would be great.

Great times(stopwatch)...and great times (fun)for all.

I hope everyone can make our "slow" PRE - 5k tomorrow a.m. at 8. Getting in some long-slow distance work prior to CF is going to be interesting! If you don't feel like doing a full 5k, please come and do the 1 mi loop once or twice. Pre-exhust prior to CF.

Rae's birthday today - Kate to teach tonight! Everyone be sure to give her a hard time. :-)

Please check the dry erase board for some new additions to the 't-shirt' requirements and updates on your WOD scores.

Please allow me to give a special shout out to Leigh Ann Puca for painting the white letters on our rubber weights. They are so much easier to read now! When you get a chance, please thank her for helping CFAI become a better place - one small step at a time!

i looked like i had been in a brush fire after wrestling with that tire. my back is sore so it got the best of me. the stretching felt great. 3x at 24 minutes

What a good week everyone! Richard, be careful in the Tour de Forts Sunday. Carolyn, Carlin, Alex and I will be Running WILD tomorrow! 12.5. WOW. Will need that stretching session next week!

I said I wasn't sore the next day, but I changed my mind! WoW, if anything will get us ready for bikinis that will! I only did 4 rounds due to time restraints (I was really slow since I came straight from a massage) 29:54/56.
