Have had a couple questions lately from students wondering "why isn't Doug doing any of these CF WOD's"? So...here is the latest:

I have been trying to get in 1 CF WOD/week. I have been training 3-4 days/week to get ready for the Melborne Weightlifting Meet coming up on July 18 (at Harbor City CF). Yesterday, set a PR in the C and J at 112kg. The clean was the easy part....go figure! Not sure yet why the Jerk is not going up as easy as it has in the past. Anyway...hoping for a 115 kg in the C and J and a 93+ Snatch on the 18th. Previous best total was 201kg; which placed me 2nd at Master's Nationals.

So....which CF WOD will happen this week for me???? Would love to do Badger...it looked tough! To anyone who cared (about the above...)thank you for letting me brag! :-)

Want to give props to all that attended the Deadlift clinic last night AFTER the WOD. Wow. Way to hang in there guys. Excellent efforts.
