July 4th WOD - Independence Day!

That's right...Friday's workout is at Main Beach!

All classes combined to one gigantic 9:30 class.

50m Noodle Swim (Flutter kick)
Life Guard station Run
5 Cartwheels
20 Ocean Push Ups
15 Thrusters (weight t.b.d.)

I really enjoyed today's workout. (almost as much as my kids did). I think next beach workout everyone should be required to catch a wave on the surfboard. 5 rounds: 35:11

The best part of the workout is that no one drown! :-) Why is it that.... swimming combined with running, combined with lifting, is so hard? No really...I would like to hear your comments. There are no wrong answers. Think about metabolic "demand" on each of the activities..and how much 'power output' each of the individual activities takes. How would you rank the individual exercises based on power output?
1. Swim or Thruster
2. Run
3. Cartwheel
4. Push-up
How does that list look?
