July 11 - Cycling WOD

One of USA's hopefuls in the Tour de France -
George Hincapie
Warm up:
50 skips - each leg
50 bicycles in air - lying on ground
2 progressive sprints length of soccer field

(2 rounds)


WOD:
Loop around Amelia concourse on Bike


Mountain Bikes - 1 round
Road Bikes - 2 rounds
Cross bikes and beach cruisers - 1 round
  • Basically a 20 minute critical power test
  • RIDE WILL START AT NORTH HAMPTON POOL - IN THE PARKING LOT 9:30a
  • Warm up will be at the Soccer Field at the North Hampton Pool
  • We will be on the grass, so shoes are optional
  • Bring your old crappy bike or or new fancy bike....it doesn't matter. We are interested in pushing you in unfamiliar territory. The equipment is unimportant.

I love the off campus workouts, sorry to have missed this one. Yesterdays surf and Christmas music worked me over.

i have been out all week but did this one at home today as prescribed by LT

50 air squats
50 situps
30 pushups
30 lunges
15 chair dips

2x 17:42

it was surprisingly hard after a week of no workouts but i felt much better after i did it.

Not sure why this was an exceptionally tough WOD today???? But...it was hard. Head wind and rolling 'hills' on the way back to the start line. I am glad to see everyone finished in under 30 min!!! Awesome job guys. Great lower leg power output today.

Thanks for allowing us the opportunity to change it up and challenge you with some odd workouts occationally.
