Ride and WOD - Thurs, Oct. 2nd


Riders meet in the Sandbox as normal for the 8:30 class.
We will get bikes and helmets and head to Fort Clinch.
Please bring $1 for entry into the Fort. PLease bring a friend - we will be doing these group rides every Tuesday and Thursday until October 18th - the Youth Fitness Ride!

What a PERFECT day for a ride! Thanks to Richard, Katy, Elizabeth, Brooke, Mary, Keri, Lisa, KCJ, her mom, and LeighAnn for coming out today. Please let us know if you need a bike for next week and we will try to locate one for you!

Wow! 12 peeps for the 1st day!!! That is great. It was a perfect day for a ride. It is going to hard to match 12 on Tuesday...but everyone work on your buddies "hard" to try and get them to come. Looking forward to another beautiful day...

Today we focused on pedal cadence which was explained as "not-bouncing" on the saddle and still trying to maintain around 90 pedal revolutions per minute. We practiced taking 1 minute turns in the front of the "pace line" and then pulling off to the left to let other people in the line go to the front for their turn at breaking the wind for the group. We rode for less than 1 hour - so this is really just "saddle time" leading up to the Youth Fitness Ride.

At present time - we have over 50 registrations - with less than 3 weeks to go. If you haven't registered yet...please do so ASAP. We want to get you a t-shirt for your efforts!
