Did Helen in 16:55. Dark and stormy. richard
Make no mistake it was Kate who was the International Semiprofessional Invitational Olympic banana throw champion by a wide margin - beyond the power lines.

12:36 - not my best. But first time doing real pullups on Helen. My hands were so wrecked from the torture Kate put them through - surprised I could do any. Good times though. Banana toss was fun - not sure how I got some air.

On another note for anyone not riding in the Youth Bike ride and interested in running in the Susan G. Komen North Florida Race for the Cure on Oct 18. I have a friend that is a survivor of Breast Cancer and she and a group of people are running it. Pam and I have registered to run with her team. If you would like to run/walk and would like to register through her team, she will be picking up the packets. Her team name is Boo-Bee Positives. http://www.komennorthflorida.org/site/TR/Race/General?px=1002352&pg=personal&fr_id=1020&et=5WsekwAKjZtWDF1EHnXPeA..&s_tafId=1760.

This link is for her home page, she is the one is pink. Please let me know if anyone is interested, I will be meeting with her prior to the run to get our race packets.

On October 18, 2008, I will be participating in the Susan G. Komen North Florida Race for the Cure at Metropolitan Park in Jacksonville, FL with a great team of dedicated people. Join the fight by registering as part of our team. The money raised through the Race will fund vital education, screening and treatment programs for uninsured and underinsured women in our own community and support the Susan G. Komen for the Cure National research program.

13:12 as Rx. Tanked during second set of KB swings, and hurting after scads of pullups in recent days. Hard to motivate when doing it solo, but ready for next time!

Love all this blogging. I would love to do the Pumpkin Run too. If any of you are interested, we could start training for the Donna Hicken 1/2 marathon in February. I did this event last year and it is great. You can run, walk, run/walk. Lots of support and survivors cheering you on. Let me know! We can do it for your friend!
