The CFAI Running Group will "officially" begin after the first of the year. However, for any of the diehards (like me), today's workout and the next few Thursdays will be designed to help your running game. If you are not a runner, these type of workouts will help you build ENDURANCE and STRENGTH so they are great for everyone.
Please look for a post on a group run in the next week or so.
Happy Trails!

What time is todays workout?
Just a quick note to everyone to talk about our plans for 2010. We are planning on implementing quite a few "NEW" CrossFit tools. The Running Group being one of them.
As we grow the running group...we would love some ideas on races and "fun runs" to train for. This may include Fort Clinch runs, training runs, and interval training. Some of the races that have already surfaced include...but are not limited to:
1. Gate
2. Mud Run
3. "The" Donna
4. Carabbas Beach Run
5. Turtle Trot
At some point...it becomes a lifestyle change...we hope you will help us recruit and share what fitness has done for you!
what is this...track fit? how'bout slinging some iron this year? looks like doug is "running" out of ideas!
I am completely running out of ideas. Actually...it's all about me! :-) I am only interested in improving my own 5k time. Maybe it would help if I didn't walk!
Oh..BTW Coach... I know this isn't the correct forum, but would you mind helping me with my que's in the second pull of the clean?
before we work on the second pull, let's have you master the starting position then, your first pull phase and the transition or "scoop" phase with a pvc pipe. once this becomes second nature to you THEN, we'll work on your second pull, the catch and the downward movement phases. cool?
