On the deadlift the weight sets are not offering much resistance. The following is what I propose;
Current
2 sets@ 65#
2 sets@ 95#
2 sets @ 105#
Change
2 sets@ 95#
2 sets @ 105#
2 sets @ 115#
I do not know if this is too aggressive, because I know in another month the weight is going to change again when we move to the next phase. Let me know what your thoughts on this and what you recommend.
The squats are working out great for me.
Also on the kettle ball I changed to a 20 kg since 16 kg was to easy.
Thanks
Mark
Mark - Progression looks really good. I appreciate you taking your time and increasing in small/short increments. Please address your coaching que's: stance, grip, eyes, back arch, chest up, etc... If you think they are PERFECT....then I say, "go for it". Please send me a video clip or post on a web site so I can look at it.
If you can't lift 100#s correctly...you can't lift 200#'s correctly...I promise! :-)
Keep the updates coming - the more Blogging...the better!
6:30 a.m. Class - I OWE YOU A BIG APOLOGY! Please forgive me for sleeping in today! I don't remember a time in all my life where I turned OFF my alarm clock in my sleep.
Having said that...I hope you enjoyed the WOD. You all know how I love to coach the C and J...and I wish I could have helped you through it.
I will make the necessary adjustments - so that this doesn't happen again. Again...my apologies.
Coach Lane,
Lets do this. Lets set up a session to ensure that you can critique my deadlift.
I do not mind this at all. What would be a good day for you? Thursday's are bad for me.
Mark
