No this is NOT going to be a post about the disgusting picture. Eeehhhwww.

Guys - I know this WOD brought out the Testosterone. For some weird reason EVERY man seems to LOVE to Bench. If that is YOU...congrats - you are a platehead. And I only mean that with the utmost respect. (I am one too.) We (humans) HAVE TO Bench (completely bias) to have a 'mark' to shoot for and it a a great measure of upper body strength. Like so many other "Loaded" movements - this one again taxes so many muscle groups.

Ladies - if you completed the WOD today - you are a stud-ette. Way to go. In our society - (in my opinion) women's upper body strength is SO DE-EMPHASIZED and SO under-glorified. What a SHAME! In my shallow opinion - EVERY women should be able to Bench between 3/4 and FULL Body weight. If you can't...don't be ashamed...just get mad and do something about it! Each week, push yourself to get 1 or 2 more perfect push-ups or do a little 'extra-credit' work by hitting the bench press prior to the WOD. Loading yourself abnormally will make you leaner, stronger, and more physically fit. I admire you for coming in today and challenging yourselves.

Respects.
