This is always a tough one, no matter what. Surprisingly I felt really good on the run part, I'm sure I could always run faster but I didn't feel like the run slowed me down today. 55# 18:??. I also liked that we were focusing more on form today than time. Welcome aboard Kassy:)

modified O'head squat workout..
I really like how this squat wrecks my whole body, one of my favorites.

35#/5x/15:16. I like this workout. Tough, but fun. I went light for various reasons. It felt good. The best part was the group of teenagers at the turnaround point at the movie theater who were cheering me on!

Alyson -

Cheering Section??? I love it! Maybe some of them should put down the popcorn and try it???

Welcome Kassy! My classes are easier than Leslie's....for the record! :-)

In bodybuilding circles - they say nothing works the whole body like the squat for overall strength. I would like to invite those folks to try and Overhead Squat or Snatch a few times for reps. In my humble opinion, these are by far the most involved stregth moves the body can perform.

Side Note: I am 'Super Pumped' about Coach Rip's visit this weekend and next weekend, I will be after another Certification. I will be getting USA Weghtlifting Club Coach Certified. The Cert is one level above the Sport Performance Coach that I currently have. What does this mean to you?? More discressionary OHS technique!!!!! :-) Can't wait to bring back some awesome drills and skills for you guys!
