Aug 20 - WOD

ARE YOU READY?
Warm up:
400m run
15 Hanging L-leg raises
(3 rounds)

WOD:
Skill Day - kinda....

100 Sledge Hammer (50/50) men= lrg, women=small hammer
100 Round/side kicks (50 right/50 left)

  • Timed event - weight until person in front of you is 1/4 way done with next exercise
  • Sledge/Kick WOD is timed. Post and Blog Scores
  • While waiting...work on your skills: Muscle-up, dips, L-sit on parellelettes, handstand on parellelettes, kipping pull-ups, Ab mat w/weighted ball, GHD sit-ups, etc...

With so may of us doing the 5 mile Beaches Run this weekend, you should be primed for the Turtle Trot (5K, 10K, walk and kids fun run too) Labor Day weekend here on the island. Club 14 is the sponsor and we need to have a large showing of CFitters out there running. So sign up soon - you are trained and ready! No better way to start a holiday weekend!

Really enjoyed today's workout. Felt good to beat that tire and kick that bag to get the stress out. Finished in.....uummmm...4:46...I think or 4:49. Forget which.

Hi Everyone --
Please drop a note on the blog if you think you will attend the Cookout on Friday. I need to get an idea of how much meat to buy. If Fay is still around we may have to cancel - but we will see.

Did the 100+100 in 7:50. Got winded but didn't really tear into a specific muscle group. The ring muscleups sure did though - they're fun although the harness is mighty uncomfortable. richard

Enjoyed the workout again today---tried the muscle ups for the first time, was really great.

6:50ish or something. loved trying the muscle ups but not very happy with the harness. what the fay? looking forward to saturday, 5 miles on the beach!!! :)

NOt s real sledge hammerer - 5:34. Plan on class tomorrow morning unless of course there is no power. Stay safe and dry!
