Now that the weather has "warmed up" a bit...let's turn up the heat even further!!
Our CFAI Running Group will now have its own official day and time, Saturday mornings at 8:30am. Distance and locations for runs will vary so stay tuned to the blog and the white board in the gym. As the summer progresses, we might move the start time up slightly to avoid the blistering heat as much as possible. We will start with shorter runs, probably never less than a 5k total, but will build up as we go. There will ALWAYS be an option to do go longer and shorter. The CFAI Run class will include short, middle and long-distance training. We will discuss pros and cons of various techniques and thought processes in the running arena including pose, interval training, LSD and mixing CrossFit with running. And there will be every attempt to have you back to the starting point by 9:45am to make it to Coach Lane's Weightlifting class at 10:00am if you desire to go.
Please let me know in advance if you are training for a specific race or type of race so that we can modify or structure your training appropriately. Guests are completely welcome and I hope you will recruit some other running friends. There will be a $10 guest fee charge or $15 for 2 guests.
Our first run will be this Saturday at 8:30am. Please meet at the North Hampton pool parking lot (I will run off the pool czars!).

Really looking forward to getting this program up and running! It has been long overdue as I know many of your have been requesting it. Now...we need your help to spread the word. Let's make it a successful venture. With all the 5k and 10k events we are doing....this should be a 'no brainer'...right?
